A user list is a collection of data, typically email addresses (e.g., dupont@johndoe.com) or parts of email addresses (@johndoe.com). This list is used in the condition of a scenario to determine whether a message should be processed or not.
For example, let's say we want to print and delete all emails that are from our friends list. To achieve this, simply edit the group of actions and add a rule such as 'If the sender is in the "friends list"'.
How can the lists be populated?
- The lists can be manually populated by editing them through the left menu 'TOOLS' and selecting 'Your lists'.
- Another way is to right-click on the displayed list of emails in Automatic Email Manager and choose 'Add this email to a list' from the menu.
- Using the 'ADD EMAIL TO A LIST' action, you can automatically add the email address from each message to a selected user list.
- Alternatively, you can directly edit the text file on disk. The lists are saved by default in the following folder: C:\ProgramData\Namtuk\AEM9\Lists (However, they are only loaded when the program starts).
