In some case, you have to connect to Automatic Email Manager your Gmail account via the login and classic password, to not use OAuth.

For this case, you have first to create an app password for your Google account (this is a single password to use for a single application), follow these steps:


Step 1: Sign in to your Google Account:


Step 2: Navigate to Security Settings:

  • In the left sidebar, click on "Security."


Step 3: Find "App passwords":

  • Under the "Signing in to Google" section, you should see an option for "App passwords." Click on it.
  • If you don't see "App passwords," make sure 2-Step Verification is turned onfor your account. You'll need to set up 2-Step Verification before you can create an app password.


Step 4: Create an App Password:

  • You may be prompted to sign in to your account again for security purposes.


Step 5: Copy the App Password:

  • A 16-character app password will be generated. Copy this password (without spaces).


Step 6: Use the App Password in Automatic Email Manager

  • Use this app password in place of your Google account password in the application you are setting up (e.g., in your email client or app).


Step 7: In Automatic Email Manager, Add a new account

  • Enter the name for the account
  • Enter the Gmail address to connect
  • Tick the box to use manual settings
  • Press 'Next'


Step 8: On account type screen: Select bottom options to use predefined providers

  • Select 'Gmail with IMAP4'
  • Press 'Next'


Step 8:  Now enter your login (email address) and your app password jut generated previously.

  • That's all, it should work.
